  1. *Very limited reporting of data from interviews with obstetricians and health visitors in this analysis. The interviews showed that other professional groups played an extremely limited role in the negotiation process, possibly because the introduction of caseload midwifery involved no significant changes in the distribution of tasks among midwives and related professionals
